RCAF Omega HA60 Single pusher Chronograph 1960

Available on eBay

Offered is my RARE 1960 RCAF Omega HA60 single pusher
chronograph. This version of the RCAF Omega was issued to RCAF Aircrew from
about 1960-1967, after which Breitling won the contract. The dial and hands
(re-lumed) are original. It also has an original replacement crown. Lovely
caseback with full RCAF military serial number.

most published sources quote that 460 Omega HA60s and 940 Omega HA62s were
produced, in actual fact there were
only 223 recorded HA60 watches
(about 130 Destroyed-from Omega Museum)
and 443 Omega HA62s
watches produced (about 150 Destroyed-from Omega Museum). Thus, there should be
no more 675-680 Total HA60/62s.

This makes them rarer than initially thought, being one of the smallest production
runs of Military Chronographs.

There are only about 90 x HA60s left in the world, thus exceedingly more rare
than the Lemania Viggen, Breitling 817s etc, which are now trading at about

This chronograph is accompanied with a Letter of Provenance, noting its’
acquisition directly from the RCAF supply system.

dial and original lume have a lovely patina. The chrono function is crisp. 36mm
across excluding crown. It comes on a Black two piece nylon strap.

Omega is powered by the Omega 2221 (Lemania) hacking movement. This movement is
unique to the RCAF Omega with none in any civilian chronographs. Service
history is unknown, so a service is recommended. I do NOT guarantee water proof.

I ship Worldwide, except Italy, Spain, Asia and Russia. Tracked postage via Australia International express $35 or FEDEX $135.
